Complete Pianoworks

The third volume in the series of complete works for piano solo by José Antonio Bottiroli again reflects his immersion in late romanticism combined with the means of impressionism. Although these world premiere recordings concentrate on Bottiroli's elegiac works - laments in memory of his loved ones - they also contain pieces with the free musical structure of a "fantasia" and those with the stricter delineation of theme and variation. In the microfilms he even offers us imaginary filmic pieces. Fabio Banegas is not only Bottiroli's protégé, but has also catalogued the composer's complete works.
