Double Reflet

Double Reflet I conceived this album as a journey. Two cultures, two eras, two stories that are fundamentally one: the story of those who, uprooted, are at home everywhere and nowhere. When I returned to Japan in 2023 for the first time after seven years of absence, I was able to rediscover my roots and breathe new life into the deep bond with my homeland and my family. The shock of these reunions made me realize how deeply I had already been immersed in a dual culture that has now become mine. This album, an expression of my personality and life path, allows me to share the music that lives within me through these twelve pieces by French and Japanese composers. Two worlds: one fluid, filled with glimmering lights and colors; the other opaque, a mirror of an emptiness that fills the space with its depth. Double Reflet is a bridge between past and future, Japan and France, pain and joy, with the aim of bringing light through music.
