Joshua Brown won second prize in 2024 at the prestigious Belgian Concours Reine Elisabeth: a springboard for many artists who gained worldwide fame shortly thereafter. Together with Paolo Giacometti, he devotes himself to the two violin sonatas by Robert Schumann and an arrangement of the Fantaisie Op. 131; works that the American violist clearly holds particularly close to his heart.
