From the Song of Amergin

The Aglica Trio was founded in 2017 at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London and surprises with an unusual instrumentation: Carys Gittins is a flutist, Agnieszka Żyniewicz a viola d'amore player and Lise Vandersmissen a harpist. In January 2024, the ensemble won the Belgian Supernova Chamber Music Competition, which brought considerable media attention and numerous concerts, including a performance at the renowned BOZAR in Brussels. The recording with works by Hilary Tann, Francisco Fontes and Claude Debussy is now available on CD.
