"I dream of being able to forever and always make programmes and recordings based on the pure joy of playing, just like here. This uninhibited, naïve pleasure in playing and musical enjoyment is the only thing that drives me. In this first solo album with works by Johann Sebastian Bach, recorded on a beautiful harpsichord by Philippe Humeau, I explore very different works, each telling their own story and which can be combined in different ways or listened to separately. The goal of this new album, as simple as it is essential for me, is to let the ears and - I hope - the hearts of listeners share in some pieces that I place in the pantheon of the cantor and that have accompanied me for a very long time.
