In Homeland Judith Jáuregui, one of the most renowned Spanish pianists of our time, joins forces with Kaspar Zehnder and the Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León for performances of Grieg's Piano Concerto, op. 16 and Falla's Nights in the Gardens of Spain. Two composers who turned their love for their homeland into a musical statement. Both were connoisseurs of the folklore of their respective origins, Norway and Andalusia, and knew how to weave these elements into their music in subtle and powerful ways.
