The Encantar ensemble was founded at the end of 2006 by four young singers who intended to study the rich polyphonic repertoire of the 14th-16th centuries, and to introduce them to the public in a deliberately contemporary fashion. Encantar's programs are mainly devoted to religious works by Flemish, Spanish, and Italian polyphonists, as well as works by French and English composers of the same period.
