concerto Copenhagen has been a leading ensemble for music from the baroque, Viennese classical and early romantic periods for more than 30 years. Under the direction of Lars Ulrik Mortensen, the ensemble combines a methodical approach to historical works with artistic originality and a continuous development of their performance style. Together with the Ests Filharmonisch Kamerkoor, they celebrate the 90th birthday of Estonian composer Arvo Pärt. Under the direction of Tonu Kaljuste, they present a unique combination of historical instruments and contemporary choral singing. The album contains works such as "Silouans Song", "Stabat Mater", "Trisagion", "Berliner Messe" and "Festina Lente". Arvo Pärt is considered one of the most important living composers of contemporary music and created the unique musical style Tintinnabuli in 1976, which continues to have a formative influence on his work to this day.
