Luka & Léo Ispir

Luka (violin) and Léo (cello) Ispir (laureates 2023 of the Fondation Gautier Capuçon) are two award-winning musicians, trained at prestigious institutions such as the Conservatoire de Paris and the Muziekkapel Koningin Elisabeth. Fondation Gautier Capuçon is committed to supporting emerging young musicians and helping them launch their professional careers through mentorship, visibility and performance opportunities. This album presents a diverse program, with masterworks by Bach and Mozart, combined with a tribute to Ravel's iconic sonata for violin and cello. It also contains the world premiere of Street of Memories, Op. 115, by Turkish composer and pianist Fazil Say.
