Stile Antico is one of the most successful vocal ensembles in the world: their bestsellers have been awarded prizes such as the Gramophone Award for Early Music, the Diapason d'or de l'année, the Edison Klassiek Award and the German Record Critics' Award. The group has been nominated three times for Grammy® nominations and performed live during the 60th Grammy® Awards in Madison Square Garden. The third release in their acclaimed trilogy "The Golden Renaissance" is being released on the 500th birthday of Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina. The Italian composer was born in 1525 and is recognized as one of the most prominent musicians of the late Renaissance, who had a lasting influence on the development of sacred and secular music in Europe.
