Musik für verlorene Seelen

"Beautiful world, where are you?" These words by Friedrich Schiller stand at the beginning of this new project, an exploration of existence, wandering and mourning. Coline Dutilleul has compiled a programme in which keyboard works by Johann Sebastian Bach and lieder by Franz Schubert echo themes such as melancholy and death: inner states that the music makes perceptible through tempo, texture and harmony. These works sketch a journey marked by absence and resilience, in which restlessness, renunciation and solace succeed one another as the phases of grief.
