An overture is defined as a collection of themes from the work, and this suite interweaves many of the numbers from the film, including The Village in May, Totoro, Evening Wind and Cat Bus (the cat bus, as the name suggests, is a large magical cat that is also a bus for the forest spirits, and travels through the air with mouse headlights, an enormous smile and a large curly tail).
