Violist Sylvia Huang has drawn inspiration from nature since her childhood and marvels at its beauty, cycles and subtle harmony. Her project Ode to Mother Nature, in collaboration with WWF-Belgium, aims to raise awareness of the fragility of life in all its forms. Pianist Boris Kusnezow accompanies Sylvia on this musical journey that celebrates the cycle of the seasons, through works by Gabriel Dupont, Lili Boulanger, Dora Pejačević, Edvard Grieg, Einojuhani Rautavaara, Camille Pépin and Eugène Ysaÿe. Each piece highlights an aspect of a season, as well as the deep connection between music and nature. With this programme, Sylvia invites us to feel the intimate bond that connects humanity with its environment and the compelling need to protect it.
