The Officium Hebdomadae Sanctae is undoubtedly the most important large-scale work of Tomás Luis de Victoria. It contains settings for the celebrations of Holy Week from Palm Sunday to Good Friday. This truly monumental work (with 18 responsories, two passions and motets and hymns) was first presented in its entirety in April 2005 by the ensemble La Colombina as a live recording within its liturgical context. This renowned and highly praised recording has been sold out in recent years and is now finally available again as a reissue on 3 CDs.
