SCHUBERT Piano Sonata No. 7 D. 568, 4 Impromptus Op. 142 D. 935

For this recording, revered pianist Janina Fialkowska presents Schubert’s Four Impromptus, Op. 142, D. 935, and his Piano Sonata No. 7 in E flat major, Op. 122, D. 568. Following this release, and to celebrate her 65th birthday, Ms. Fialkowska will take on a concert tour beginning in Edmonton and traveling to over 15 Canadian cities throughout 2016. She will also perform in Germany, Japan, Portugal, Switzerland, and Spain. Some of Ms. Fialkowska’s previous heralds include a Felix award from ADISQ in 2015 for her Chopin: Complete Mazurkas, and a BBC Music Magazine Award for Best Instrumental Recording in 2012 for her Chopin Recital 2.
