The Austrian guitarist and lutenist Konrad Ragossnig (1932-2018) was one of the most influential interpreters of his instrument and a pioneer in the field of historical lute playing. In 1969 he recorded a recital of guitar music in Prague, in which his outstanding qualities, tonal beauty, flawless technical brilliance, subtle rhythmic progressions, dynamics and articulation come into their own.
