Out of the Shadows The diversity of Swiss symphonic music from the late 18th to the early 20th century is unfortunately hardly known to concert audiences today. Swiss classical and romantic composers still lead a shadowy existence, even in Switzerland. That is precisely where Swiss Orchestra, founded in 2018, comes into play: it aims to bring forgotten Swiss symphonists back to the concert stage and onto recordings, and thus into the awareness of music lovers. This double CD contains works from the concert programmes of the orchestra over the past years.
