Symphonien Nr.1,2,4

With this production, Victor Julien-Laferrière and the young Orchestre Consuelo lay the foundation for a titanic construction: the complete recording of Ludwig van Beethoven's nine symphonies. This four-year project is supported by the Festival de la Chaise-Dieu. In this first opus of symphonies nos. 1, 2 and 4, the ensemble forges a meticulous, passionate collective identity that already testifies to the quest for comprehensibility and universality of the language inherent in Beethoven's symphonic corpus.
