Hardly anyone has done more for the music composed in 17th and 18th century present-day Poland than Andrzej Szadejko. Now the busy researcher, organist and ensemble leader goes back another century: Szadejko places organ music from the tablature of Johannes van Lublin, one of the most extensive collections of instrumental music from the 16th century, in the appropriate liturgical context, which the Krakau Zangers celebrate in an impressive way with Gregorian and early polyphonic pieces.
