Delos is delighted to welcome the Avery Fisher Career Grant-winning violist and composer Tim Fain. Tim Fain is at the forefront of the music world and has produced groundbreaking projects in collaboration with, among others, Google, Samsung, Facebook, BBC and TEDx. He is also heard on the soundtracks of highly acclaimed films, including "Black Swan", "12 Years a Slave" and "Don't Look Up". Unravelling, his first album for Delos, was created during a time of great uncertainty. Against a backdrop of crisis and political unrest and the growing mental and health problems of young people, this collection of works is not a capitulation to despair, but a search for meaning, resilience and hope. With powerful works by John Corigliano, Bryce Dessner, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Philip Glass and Meredith Monk - alongside Tim's own deeply personal composition Unravelling - this album is a journey through the stages of decay and renewal.
