Violin Duets

The excellent Baroque violinist Martyna Pastuszka is a much sought-after soloist and especially known as founder and artistic director of the renowned Polish early music ensemble (oh) Orkiestra. Together with ensemble member Bartlomiej Fras she presents three virtuoso violin duos by Antonio Lolli (1725-1802) and August Fryderyk Duranowski (1770-1834). The latter gives us an impression of the lively and very rich, but unfortunately still only fragmentary discography of Polish music and Polish musical culture in the 18th and early 19th centuries.
