Voyage

Fourteen years after winning the XVI International Chopin Piano Competition, Yulianna Avdeeva documents her journey through the music of Frédéric Chopin. Voyage focuses on his late works, all composed in the midst of nature, and Avdeeva recorded them at the rustic Tippet Rise Art Centre in Montana against the serene backdrop of the Beartooth Mountains. Avdeeva is a pianist with a fiery temperament and virtuosity. She plays with power, conviction and sensitivity and has won audiences around the world. After her acclaimed debut on the Resilience label (2023), she returns to Penta-Tone.
