In this explosive solo performance - or do the six speakers also count as dancers? - French choreographer and dancer Baptiste Cazaux searches for a literal break from the pressure of capitalism and the depressing state of the world. When the isolation of the corona lockdowns plunged him into depression, he discovered that both meditation and dj'ing helped him regain his balance. One by letting off steam, the other by bringing him back to the here and now. In his previous creation, meditation on pretty fast music from 2021, Cazaux already explored the tension between the silence of guided meditation and the trance of uninhibited dancing. Here he continues his investigation into the intersection between the two in an energetic duet with six loudspeakers. Through a movement language borrowed from raves and rock concerts, he searches for exhaustion, and the emotional rest that follows from it.
