In this solo performance, choreographer Baptiste Cazaux seeks a break from the pressure of capitalism. In an energetic duet with six speakers, he explores the tension between meditation, rave and exhaustion. In this explosive solo performance - or do the six speakers also count as dancers? - French choreographer and dancer Baptiste Cazaux seeks a literal break from the pressure of capitalism and the depressing state of the world. When the isolation of the corona lockdowns plunged him into depression, he discovered that both meditation and DJing helped him regain his balance. One by letting off steam, the other by bringing him back to the here and now. In his previous creation, meditation on pretty fast music from 2021, Cazaux already explored the tension between the silence of guided meditation and the trance of uninhibited dancing. Here he continues his investigation into the intersection between the two in an energetic duet with six speakers. Through a movement language borrowed from raves and rock concerts, he seeks exhaustion, and the emotional rest that follows.
