With IN ORBIT the Euregio Jeugdorkest takes you on a musical journey through extremes of the universe, from dark depths to sparkling galaxies.
Central is the monumental suite The Planets by Gustav Holst, a colourful musical exploration of the planets and their mythic character. Additionally, the solemn and dramatic overture to Tannhäuser by Richard Wagner sounds, full of earthly and divine temptation. The stars themselves sparkle in Sirius by Jan Van der Roost, while the legendary film music by John Williams from Star Wars: The Force Awakens takes the audience into a universe of heroes and adventure.
