Singers and orchestra members, affiliated with Opera Ballet Vlaanderen, treat you monthly to a relaxing aperitif concert. Great pages from chamber music alternate with rarely performed works and forgotten pearls. After each concert there is an opportunity to chat with the musicians. One drink is included in the ticket for each concert. Richard Strauss immortalized the rogue and freebooter Tijl Uilenspiegel, known from folk tales and Charles De Costers novel La légende d'Ulenspiegel, in a highly colorful symphonic poem. Musicians from Opera Ballet Vlaanderen perform a virtuosic chamber music version of the work, Till Eulenspiegel einmal anders! by Franz Hasenöhrl. Beethoven's catchy Septet in Es and Robert Schumann's Fantasiestücke, opus 73 complete a program full of bravura, lyricism and fantasy.
