Turandot - Giacomo Puccini

Cruel and unattainable, Princess Turandot imposes a deadly test on her suitors: solve three riddles or die. Prince Calaf, bewitched by her icy beauty, accepts the challenge and succeeds. But Turandot refuses to yield. Thereupon Calaf challenges her anew: if she discovers his name before dawn, he will die. As night falls, their lives become entangled.
