In spite of his numerous concerts and his busy teaching career, Marinus de Jong was a prolific composer in numerous genres. He wrote operas, oratorios, symphonies, symphonic poems, concertos, chamber music, works for piano, songs, and religious music. Ning Kam, a violinist with "much flair plus a totally confident stage presence and an absolute command of the music" (The Telegraph), was born in Singapore. She has given concerts all over the world and toured with many orchestras under the batons of conductors such as the late Yehudi Menuhin, Lorin Maazel, Gilbert Varga, Claus Peter Flor, and Eri Klas. Belgian pianist Jozef de Beenhouwer has made innumerable radio and television recordings at home and abroad, as well as a number of LPs and CDs. At present, he is a professor at the Royal Flemish Conservatory of Antwerp and artistic director of the Brussels Lunchtime Concerts. He is regularly invited to sit in the juries of international piano competitions.
