Beatrice Rana
Beatrice Rana (Copertino, 22 January 1993) is an Italian pianist.
Beatrice Rana was born into a musical family and began playing piano at the age of four. At 16, she completed her piano and composition studies at the Conservatorio di Musica Nino Rota in Monopoli. Subsequently, she studied in Hannover and Rome. She won first prize in various international piano competitions. She is resident in Rome.
She is a much sought-after soloist. She has performed at Tonhalle Zürich, the Konzerthaus in Vienna and festivals such as those in Verbier. She was soloist with various renowned orchestras.
Rana has won numerous prizes. In 2017 she received an Edison for her recording of Bach's Goldberg Variations. In 2022 she won an Opus Klassik prize for her album of Chopin's Etudes. In the same year she was able to receive the Ackman Prize.
